More crazy summer fun!

We have had so much fun this summer.  This is just another glimpse at some of our recent activities.

Grace spent a week camping with her grandparents in Idaho:

She fished, swam and four-wheeled to her heart's content.

Meanwhile, back in Utah, Jane had a bit of an attitude problem, so she stayed behind and worked it out:

After mowing the lawn, hauling hay, cleaning the house and painting, we let her have a little fun at the end of the week:

And we even ran into this little guy by the river:
The first time I've ever run into a rattle snake in the wild.  Even growing up in the Idaho desert.  But, I had nothing to fear with these snake wranglers watching out for us.

Oh so fun. Love the rafting photos. I have a bad habit of picking snakes up by their tails (just did last week) and mistook a rattler for a less harmful snake and picked it up a few years ago only to have it shake its rattle at me. Yikes! I am much more careful now:)

I love that Jane had to work it out...we are having some serious attitude adjustments over here. It's hard to come up with discipline when we are on the road, how can I ground her from the Hill Cumorah pageant or Sacred Grove? But there is a huge written report that will have to be written once we get home before she does anything fun again :)

What river did you raft down? It looks like a super fun way to end a week full of hard work. :)
